Course Description The course is structured in two parts. The first part is dedicated to nonparametric inference. In details, the focus will be on permutation and bootstrap tests and confidence intervals in the framework of the analysis of variance and linear regression. The second part will be fully dedicated to multivariate nonparametric regression. In details, the focus will be on kernel methods, splines, and generalized additive models. Finally, 6 hours will be dedicated to specific teaching modules that are expected to possibly change year by year.
