Course Description Objective of the course is the acquisition of the basic concepts and methodology necessary for the analysis of thermodynamic systems, the transfer of energy as heat, light and acoustic phenomena, with particular reference to issues relating to energy behavior and comfort of buildings. The matter will be proposed in order to bring the students to assimilate the physical concepts and methodologies of the fundamental discipline, operational definitions of the fundamental quantities, orders of magnitude, so you can build on sound foundations and non-mnemonic skills and practical application depth courses successes. Wherever possible examples of practical engineering problems that have been pushing the development of parts of the theory and applications to the profession of construction will be used as support and motivation to the acquisition of concepts. Signs will be provided to the CEN-ISO-UNI useful description phenomena and applications.
