Course Description "Interior Sights" is an optional monographic course dealing with the culture of Interior Architecture. Interior architecture as a field of study, professional practice and theoretical, historical and critical research which is characterized by a long and outstanding tradition, especially in Italy. It is nowadays an emerging research strand in many universities and academic institutions at an international level, as well as a raising strategic field for professional practice. Nor a sub-branch of architectural composition neither completion or an accessory of it, Interior Architecture is rather to be considered a specific design approach, a method and a particular "sight" on the architectural project. The course bases on this premise. It includes a series of theoretical lectures, guest contributions, field visits and a critical exercise to be developed by students with teacher's support. It aims at providing students with an insight of the complexity and richness of this discipline and its relevance toward contemporary challenges for architectural practice, as well as supporting them in applying knowledge and understanding and making critic
