Course Description The course aims to provide students with the basic tools for understanding and definition of the technological equipment for modern buildings. The right combination of structural and architectural aspects with the more purely technical systems is actually the main road towards the contemporary satisfaction of performance and the requirement to minimize energy consumption in buildings. The main aspects concern the climate control and HVAC systems, both as regards the economic aspects of investment as regards the occurrences in terms of occupied space and predispositions of shafts and passages. The course then focuses on these aspects, trying to provide the tools and basic knowledge for a correct correlation between performance requirements and plant equipment taking into account energy aspects and the adoption of solutions that are compatible with the use of renewable sources
