Course Description The course suggests to supply the knowledge of medical physics to understand the medical imaging. Medical imaging use ionizing radiations (X Ray, artificial radioactivity) and no ionizing radiation (static magnetic fields, variables magnetic fields and radio frequency). Physical parameters able to describe the medical imaging ( MTF- modulation transfer function, Wiener spectra, NEQ-noise equivalent quanta-, Dose Efficiency quantum DQE ) and physical models of the human vision. The images with X rays: subtractive digital angiography and rotational techniques in angiography; Digital radiography and computed radiography, Physics in computed tomography (CT) and image reconstruction.
