Course Description The main aim of the course in Building physics is the study of the energy and environmental performance of buildings and its consequent connections with urban, architectural and HVAC design. The course deals with the topics essential to understand the interaction between external environment - building - internal environment, exploitation of energy sources (with particular reference to renewables) and fulfillment of environmental comfort (mainly hygrothermal). Requirements for an energy-efficient, eco-friendly and sustainable design will be developed.
