Course Description The course has as a focus to supply the ensemble of references whether legislative or administrative to understand, interpret and apply the main laws, and the relative planning instruments, which characterize the juridical corpus of the Urban Law. A first part of the course will be dedicated to coordinating the multiple normative sources in urban and building law, with reference in particular to the system of distribution of normative and administrative competences, which is been delineated, also considering the administrative federalism and the recent constitutional reform. A second part will be dedicated to illustrating the main subjects of urban planning, which will be coordinated with principles and disciplines in environmental subject, public works and cultural goods, caring about analyzing the main regional laws of Lombardy. A third part will be dedicated to steer the students into the new normative landscape represented by the Single Text in building subject. The course is meant to define the principal topics of sociology and to supply the students with an articulated vision whether in problematic key about general sociological themes or the ones specific to urban sociology. We'll start from the individual, his values, the visions of the world, the needs, the emotions, the actions and the consumptions by one side, and from the relations between individual and society, institutions, others individuals by the other. The second part of the course will deal with the concepts of space, sacred and profanes spaces, their symbolic value, forms and functions, power and citizens. Real cities and ideal ones. Environment and sustainability.
