Course Description Functions of several variables: limits, continuity, gradient, differentiability and linear approximation, higher order derivatives, Taylor's formula; free optimization. Multiple integrals in R2 and R3 : iterated integrals, change of variables. Curves in R2 e in R3: regularity, tangent vector, normal plane, length. Line integrals: work of a vector field, conservative vector fields, potential function. Ordinary differential equations: initial value problem. Separable variables. Linear differential equations: superposition principle, general solution. 1st order linear equations. 2nd order linear equations with constant coefficients. Power series. Taylor series. Exponential and trigonometric series in the complex field. Fourier series.
