Course Description The "Wireless and mobile propagation" course addresses the fundamentals of radio-wave propagation, with particular emphasis on wireless and mobile systems. The syllabus includes: nature of the electromagnetic waves; antennas as transducers and their parameters; link budget in free space and in presence of obstacles; time and frequency dispersion; indoor propagation; fading countermeasures; models, methods and applications. In the framework of innovative teaching activities, students will use specialized software for radio coverage prediction.
